My Experience: What I Liked

My Experience with F7N

When I got my Redtiger F7N, I was pleasantly surprised by its sleek, compact design. The build quality feels like a premium product despite the affordable price tag.

Featuring dual dash cams and seamless loop recording, the F7N has helped me stay safe while out on the roads. The front camera captures 1080p dual video, while the rear camera records 1080p single video.

Takeaway: I wrongly assumed the marketing team was exaggerating the F7N’s capability because there aren’t many legit 1080p dual dash cams at this price point – the video quality impressed me.

Top Video Quality

Once I got the Redtiger F7N up and running, the first thing I noticed was the top-notch video quality. It’s connected through both the rear and front camera display with pristine clarity.

The front camera has wide angle 1080p dual video, while the rear camera records 720p single video. This combo ensures you have detailed footage of everything happening around your car.

High Performance in Low Light Environments

Quality night vision isn’t commonly found in dash cams on the market, but it’s what sets the Redtiger F7N cameras apart. The super night vision adjusts the exposure automatically, capturing clear images even in challenging lighting conditions. This is particularly useful when driving at night, through tunnels, or during sunrise and sunset.

However, the real game-changer is the special professional WDR recording technology. The HDR technology ensures that even in the dark, the device captures clear images of street signs and license plates, providing sufficient evidence in case of an accident.

Loop Record Videos

You might think that excellent video quality is enough for a dash cam, but the Redtiger F7N doesn’t stop there.

One of my favorites is the loop recording. The Redtiger F7N will continuously record footage and overwrite the oldest files when the memory card is full so you never have to worry about running out of storage space or manually deleting files.

Quality G-Sensor (Automatically Lock Video)

What about those crazy moments you need to save? That’s where the built-in G-sensor shines. The G-sensor detects sudden shock, such as impact from a collision.

When a sudden shock is detected, the device automatically locks the video, protecting it from being overwritten. You’ll always have evidence saved in case of an accident or other incidents.

Built in WiFi

The F7N is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi to allow you to easily share videos via smartphone transfers. It’s great for drivers who want access to dash camera footage 24/7.

Google Maps Integration with F7N Dash Cam App

The Redtiger Dash Camera App is one of the most convenient ways to record your driving with a top quality dual dash cam and rear camera. The 1080p dual camera easily records and captures the most details, providing clear imaging and important evidence for any situation. The app also provides a parking monitor to further improve car security.

With the dual dash cam and rear camera recording in full HD, users can be sure that their important evidence is captured clearly and accurately. The app also makes it easy to connect your mobile phone to the dash cam for a live preview and easy connection to the parking monitor. What I Didn't Like

Redtiger F7N Mount

No product is perfect, and the Redtiger F7N is no exception. The biggest downside I experienced was the SD card that came with the dash cam. It’s not great so I replaced it with a higher quality memory card and saw way better performance.

Takeaway: The low quality SD Card isn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind when purchasing.

Now, let’s address the installation. The Redtiger F7N was a little hard to install and took longer than expected. However, once I spent the time to get it properly set up, it was smooth sailing. I haven’t had to adjust the mounting or positioning since the initial installation. You’ll need patience if you aren’t tech-savvy, but it’s worth it in the end.

The Verdict

4.5 out of 5
4.5/5

Using our standard Dash Cam Discount rating & review methodology, the Redtiger F7N is a 4.5 out of 5 stars.  From my experience, it’s the perfect balance between price and quality.

The 1080p dual dash cam is great for all vehicles to record videos at crystal clear quality. Its embedded motion detector that notifies drivers of any movement inside their car and a wide-angle lens that captures the entire road. The GPS tracking capability gives users the ability to monitor location and speed in real-time within the app.

Great Night Vision Performance

The camera has night vision, allowing drivers to see clearly in low light environments, while the watertight enclosure ensures a long lifespan.  Consumers in the market for a modern, reliable dash camera should have the F7N at the top of their list with the Redtiger T27 following closely behind.

If you’d like to get a feel for how we rate dash cams, John recently reviewed the VanTop H612T but didn’t have a good experience. I wouldn’t say the same about the F7N dash camera. The Redtiger F7N is an excellent dash cam that offers a great combination of video quality and greatest pursuit affordability. Buckle up, hit the road, and let the Redtiger F7N watch your back.
