The UHD touch screen & WDR Super Night Vision is just icing on the cake. It’s this level of detail that makes Redtiger T27 Mirror Dash Cam stand out in the crowded marketplace of dash cams.

Product Highlights
My Experience with the T27 Mirror Dash Cam
Reflective Mirror Dash Cam Front Camera
The first thing that struck me about the Redtiger T27 was the six-layer glass lens that brings a stunning video quality. The depth of detail was genuinely amazing and exceeded my expectations.
Everything from number plates to small text was clear, even in darker environments. The superior night vision capability came from the HDR & WDR technology which enhanced the image capture even in dim light conditions.
One cannot overlook the vivid picture clarity that Redtiger T27 offers, a quality largely attributable to the six-layer glass lens. This high-quality lens delivers a level of detail that has made a notable difference to my driving experience.
Takeaway: The HD images were amazing on my road trips, capturing breathtaking landscapes with clarity.
Clear Rearview Camera
I also appreciate the mirror road clarity dash cam front which fit snugly over my rear view mirror. I love rear dash cams because they are usually designed for windshield visibility.
Despite my car having a limo tint on my rear window, the mirror camera was indistinguishable from looking through a non-tinted rear dash cam window. This proved the effectiveness of the rear camera which performed exceptionally well in different lighting conditions.
Dual Angle Lens
The dual recording feature is excellent… The front dash cam and rear surveillance camera system captured everything happening around my vehicle when I wasn’t there.
Intelligent Screen Split with Touch Screen Functions
A feature that really made the Redtiger T27 stand out is its intelligent screen split function. And not just that, this dash cam came with an 11″ UHD touch screen, which is like nothing I have seen before in similar devices. The UHD touch screen is super intuitive, I can easily access the settings menu & scroll through options easily.
Dependable Loop Recording & Parking Mode
The parking monitor offers continuous recording even when the car is off, acting as a surveillance camera system with night vision. The backup camera display with guidelines also made parking a breeze, ensuring a safer driving experience.
When I’m on the road I want to stay focused on driving, not on managing dash cam storage. That’s where the loop recording function is beneficial. Overwriting old footage with new, it ensured a seamless recording experience.
The T27’s parking mode continuous loop recording mode gave me an additional sense of security when my car was parked.
Top-Notch Customer Service
Let’s not forget the real heroes – the Redtiger professional customer service team. From responding to my queries in record time to handling the warranty, they were quick & efficient.
They were quick to respond when I had a minor issue a few weeks after purchase & sent a replacement unit, reaffirming their commitment to customer satisfaction.
To top it off the Redtiger app makes it easy-to-access your recorded footage, which shows me how far ahead of the curve this company is.
Room For Improvement
Despite the Redtiger T27 being an excellent product, I had a couple minor issues. The rear camera’s mounting system was not as streamlined as I’d like (for easy install). It was on the heavier side, making solo installation hard for a small woman like me.
The mounting straps were tricky to handle, a design that seemed out of sync with the overall sleek aesthetic. But once I managed to install it correctly, it gave flawless results. With all this being said, I still liked my time with the T27 over the Redtiger T700 Mirror Dash Cam which I recently reviewed as well.
The Verdict
Overall, the Redtiger T27 Mirror Dash Cam is an excellent device that made my driving experience more enjoyable. Considering all its features, I feel it’s fair to rate Redtiger T27 4.25 out of 5 stars.
From its superior video quality to its advanced features, it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into designing this product. While the T27 didn’t score as high as the Redtiger F7N dash cam, we tend to like rearview mirror dash cams because they comply with many US state laws for dash cam placement.
The Redtiger T27 Mirror Dash Cam is a technology powerhouse and definitely impressed me. In my opinion, T27 is one of the top mirror dash cams out there… my only complaint revolves around installation because once I got past that, it was smooth sailing.
